The MSN program is a three-year program that prepares graduates to practice as Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialists (AGCNS) and take the national certification exam. The program offers in-person classes, small class size, personalized approach, and advanced nursing competencies.
Applicants must be Registered Nurses; have a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution, a current RN license, and at least one year of clinical experience.
Applicants must also submit the following documents:
● Bachelor of Science in Nursing Diploma
● Proof of being a Registered Nurse (certificate, license, ID, etc.)
● Transcript of Records with at least 2.5 GPA (Unofficial is accepted)
● A CES report from a credential evaluation agency that is a member of NACES.
● TOEFL score of over 90
● Copy of your valid passport.
● NCLEX ATT (Authorization-To-Test)
The MSN program consists 540 clinical hours, 45 lab hours, and 90 project hours. The program has six semesters in spring and fall. The classes are held in Blue Ash, Ohio.
Graduates of the MSN program will be able to provide evidence-based, ethical, and equitable care for diverse young to older adults at the individual and system levels. They will also be able to communicate, collaborate, translate research, integrate quality and safety principles, demonstrate leadership skills and expertise, incorporate information and technology, exhibit responsibility and accountability, and demonstrate role competencies as a clinical nurse specialist. Graduates will also be eligible to take the national certification exam for AGCNS.
